Cellular Digital Packet Data



A type of digital transmission using the cellular network. Based on IBM's CelluPlan
II, it moves data at 19.2 Kbps over ever-changing unused intervals in the voice
channels. It is being implemented by IBM, AT&T (through McCaw Cellular), and most major telephone companies.
