Definition
High-capacity networking cable consisting of a hollow outer braided copper or foil shield
surrounding a single inner copper conductor with plastic insulation between the two conducting layers. Used for broadband and baseband communications networks and cable TV; usually free from external interference and capable of high transmission rates over long distances.
