Truncasted Reserve Path Broadcasting

Definition
Algorithm used by multicast routing protocols; multicast routers determine the group memberships on each leaf subnetwork and avoid forwarding datagrams onto a leaf subnetwork if it does not have a member of the destination group present. The spanning delivery tree is truncated by the router if a leaf subnetwork does not have group members.
